Hello, I'm Tom Zhang. I'm a web developer and digital marketer with hands-on website experience since 2016. My current focus is Agentic Engineering, AI Workflows and Digital Marketing.

About Me

Over the past few years I've worked across the entire life of a website: designing in Figma, developing in WordPress, writing custom plugins in PHP, and managing the servers, DNS, and security that keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. I'm equally at home in front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript), and on the data side, using SQL, analytics, and A/B testing to understand how people actually use a site.

What I enjoy most is treating a website as a complete system rather than a collection of pages. A background in theoretical physics taught me to approach problems analytically: to measure, test, and iterate rather than guess. That mindset shows up everywhere in my work, from improving SEO and conversion rates to meeting WCAG AA accessibility standards and tuning paid campaigns so that traffic turns into results.
